Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the Buildably website, readiness check and pre-construction services.

Last updated 24 July 2026

The readiness check

The readiness check is an initial, general assessment based on the answers you provide. Its score, breakdown and roadmap are a starting point for further investigation. They are not legal, financial, planning, engineering, surveying or building advice.

You are responsible for providing accurate information and obtaining appropriate professional advice before making decisions or entering contracts.

Services and availability

Buildably may provide a triage call, pre-construction sequencing, consultant coordination and introductions to third-party professionals or builders. The services, scope, price and deliverables for paid work will be set out before you commit.

Coordination and triage services are currently limited to our stated service area. Readiness scores and roadmaps may still be used outside that area.

Builder introduction fee

If you enter a building contract with a builder introduced by Buildably, Buildably may charge that builder an introduction fee equal to 2% of the building contract value.

This means Buildably has a financial interest in introductions that result in a contract. You are not required to use an introduced builder, and you should independently assess any builder, quote and contract before proceeding.

Third-party services

Builders, brokers, designers, surveyors, planners and other specialists are independent third parties. Their advice, quotes, availability, licences, insurance, work and contracts are their responsibility. An introduction or coordination step is not a guarantee or endorsement of a particular outcome.

No guaranteed result

Project outcomes depend on matters outside Buildably's control, including finance, planning rules, site conditions, authority decisions, consultant work, builder capacity and market conditions. We do not guarantee approval, finance, savings, a construction price or a completion date.

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, Buildably is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website, reliance on the readiness check, or the acts or omissions of third parties.

Privacy and website use

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use its content unlawfully.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version will be published here. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
